Take on a brilliant 13.1 mile route through the parks and passing through Merton’s bustling streets including Morden and Wimbledon.
Weave through stunning green spaces including Morden Park, Wimbledon Common & Wimbledon Park and past iconic sporting landmarks including the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

About Run South London
An exhilarating new, closed road half marathon is coming to South London as part of a collaboration between Merton Council and The Great Run Company, organisers of the world’s biggest half marathon, the Great North Run.
The event will bring communities together, open doors to healthier lifestyles, and help put Merton on the map as a destination for major mass-participation events.
Local sports clubs, community groups and businesses are encouraged to get involved in the event, ensuring the benefits are felt well beyond those crossing the start line. More details about how to get involved will be provided soon.

How do I sign up for Run South London?
Entries open on 8th April 2026 and there are a limited number of places available at Launch. When you click enter on the website, you will be directed to our booking partner Let's Do This to secure your entry. Your entry information and payment is processed by Let’s Do This and passed securely to Run South London. Your bank statement will show Let’s Do This against your event entry and you will receive a booking confirmation email from Let’s Do This, in addition to your usual entry confirmation email from Run South London. All pre event advice and information will arrive in your inbox from Run South London.
Is there an age restriction for participants?
Run South London entries are open to runners aged 17+ on the day of the event.
What is included in the entry fee?
Entry includes a Run South London 2027 finisher medal and other finish line goodies, chip-timed results and a run number personalised with your name. The event takes place on closed roads, and you will also have access to training plans and support.
Where does the event start & finish?
The event will start and finish at Morden Park. The full event route, including detailed course maps, will be released in the coming months.
What time does the event start?
The full event day timetable will be confirmed in the coming months. Your allocated wave colour and start time will be included and confirmed in pre-event emails.
Who is organising the event?
Run South London is a collaboration between Merton Council and The Great Run Company. The event will be delivered by The Great Run Company, organisers of the world’s biggest half marathon, the Great North Run.
When will I receive event day information?
You’ll receive a series of emails in the run up to the event. A Participant Guide will be available from approx. one month before event day, this will include all the information you need.
